WorkSmart Merchandising is seeking qualified Reset Merchandisers to assist with retail resets in the your area on a temporary as needed basis.

The Field Reset Merchandiser is responsible for completing resets that involve a variety of products and environmental situations, and to do so successfully, requires the field employee to be able to complete the resets accurately to the plan-o-grams and on schedule. At all times, the field employee will need to exhibit a friendly and helpful attitude, and a willingness to be helpful to the team, team leader or set supervisor, customers, any store personnel, and the office staff of WorkSmart Merchandising.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • At Least 18 yrs. of age
  • HS Diploma or Equivalent
  • Minimum of 6 months reset merchandising experience
  • Experience reading and implementing planograms
  • Have a valid state issued driver’s license
  • Able to provide background check upon request and at employee’s expense
  • Able to pass drug and/or alcohol tests
  • Have reliable transportation
  • Have working knowledge of merchandising terminology
  • Have a smart phone with camera
  • Ability to work with diverse personalities
  • Have experience working with or without supervision

 

Physical Demands:

  • Able to work nights and extended hours
  • Able to handle occasional hot/cold environments (i.e., freezer and non-air conditioned) which may require use of gloves, warm clothing, and comfortable footwear
  • Able to stand, bend, kneel, push, pull, reach, climb for long periods of time, and in a constant repetitive motion
  • Able to lift 50+ pounds, i.e., install shelves or transport pet food repetitively

 

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Able to perform resets, remodels, and rack/display placements
  • Able to clean shelves, check date codes, place shelf strips, and attach tags properly
  • Able to adjust shelf heights, move materials, supplies, fixtures and equipment as necessary
  • Able to place PIP/POS (promotional materials) when necessary
  • Able to report to team leader while keeping communications with WorkSmart Merchandising
  • Able to view schedules, report hours, and complete signoff sheets/surveys on website portal
  • Able to work a project independently with no supervision, and able to return to a set within 48 hours to correct and fix any issues with the reset that client has deemed insufficient
  • Able to comply with WorkSmart Merchandising’s policies
  • Able to identify and report health and safety risks, accidents, incidents, injuries, and property damage , and alert WorkSmart Merchandising of any unsafe act or condition to prevent injuries
  • Able to adhere to dress code and appropriate protective equipment (if needed)
